Recently someone wrote in and asked us about the decision to legally change their gender after top surgery. Not everyone is able to legally change their gender, either because they cannot afford or don’t want the procedures required (usually top surgery, in some cases bottom surgery, sometimes…
So I was thinking recently that maybe story telling was far more powerful than almost anything in the world.
And as a blog maybe people telling their story honestly, openly and without fear or prejudice.
So if anyone has a story or essay (both fiction and nonfiction) that they believe could help someone else who was in either a straight, gay or whatever version of a trans or gender non-conforming relationship. It would be lovely to have a resources page from real people living real lives.
The stories or essays can be funny, serious or a tale of normal life (as sometimes being able to see normal light at the of a pretty bad tunnel can be the best thing).
All stories or essays can be submitted anonymously or not, either via here or email (just ask!)
Hell if you even want to submit “my day in pictures” or “my feelings in the form of an interpretive dance”
Thank you muchly and don’t stress to much over the writings I can either rejig them if you want but often someone speaking from the heart is the most powerful thing

Also some of these would be epic to use for “project t” as it’s now known because looking for stuff to use as reference material and as someone who dated someone who came out as trans shows how little resources are out there.
Ps if anyone knows of any such links that would be amazing if they could send them in
I found this on the interweb i must admit i havent read to full article yet but I wanted to post it before I lost it
=)
Recently, a well-meaning friend of mine disclosed my trans status to a friend of his, someone I hadn’t known previously. I don’t know that I ever would have found out that he had done so if his friend hadn’t slipped up and referred to me as “she” in front of a group of people.
He quickly…
it can be a simple accident or even sticking up for a trans person or community… We’ve all probably done it without meaning malice
So I was thinking recently about making a small project about partners of trans people, I don’t really want to go into too much detail at this point but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas, stories or issues encountered during their experiences.
If anyone could or would be willing to help it would be an incredible help to the project and could maybe help a few others.
Thank you all…
And in my own life, I’m happy and trying to keep busy with some writing projects and art events and also trying to not develop a tightened muscles from sitting writing too much,
however I spent one weekend outside fully and got the worse sunburn (I looked/look like a lobster), managed to only tan half my face.
so yeahhhhhhhhhhhh……. #sunburnt and #helpplease
I know ive been so bad at updating but personal circumstances have changed alot (we know what that means right?)
So I’m kinda late on the whole Laura Jane Grace thing but way to go lady! A truly brave individual.
Please go sign this petition against the c4m.org petition to stop same sex marriage in the uk. However some of their arguments against same sex marriage are a chuckle (tbh two men wanting to get married has never affected my job in the slightest).
It says you cant sign it unless you live in the 16 but that doesn’t mean you can’t reblog it or such (family first Australia are tweeting in support of c4m)
its really hard to find a valentines card for your boyfriend who isnt out as a transman to his family.
i dont want to put his birth name but i dont want to put his guy name and out him
thinking about going for “to you, happy valentines, love your lady”
anyone else have this problem?
